What do you look for in new members?

The first thing we look for is authenticity. It sounds cheesy but be yourself! Whatever you’re passionate about, we wanna know. We are not concerned with what it is, but why it makes you excited. Texas Novas prides ourselves on being diverse, so we want to have members that are proud of who they are and where they come from. The next important aspect we are looking for in new members are women who want to leave a mark on our organization. Because we are a relatively new organization, we have had to build Texas Novas from the ground up. We want our future Novas to carry on this spirit and continue to make Texas Novas better. Bring your ideas, we want to hear what you have to say.

Do you have to be a certain year to Join?

We welcome first years, second, and third year students!

What are the new member requirements?

New Members must complete the following point requirements:

  • Attend 3 Friendship events 

  • Obtain 4 Service hours

  • Attend 2 Diversity events

  • Attend 2 Academic events

  • Attend 2 Spirit events

New Members will also have a due payment of $200 for the first semester, after which dues will be only $150 a semester.

  • We are flexible with payment so don’t let this stop you from applying!
