Hearing the word recruitment may seem a little scary and nerve racking. We want to extinguish any fears you may have. This process is just as much about us getting to know you as it is about you getting to know us. We are excited to meet each and every one of you. We encourage you to come out to as many events as you can. This way you can see if you can envision yourself as part of our galaxy.

About the Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process is usually between two to three weeks. We host two types of events: meet & greets and info sessions. Meet & greets allow you to meet our marvelous Novas and so we can get to know you. We ask that all prospective members attend 2 meet & greets. Info sessions are where we talk about the history of Texas Novas, what we do, and gives you the opportunity to ask any burning questions! Prospective members are required to attend one info session so you know the commitment. At the end of the two or three week process, our application is due. The application gives you the opportunity to share what you love about yourself and why you think you would be a good fit for Novas. After you submit your application, we ask all prospective members to sign-up for an interview. The interview allows us to learn more about what you put on your application. We will let you know our decision within 1-2 days, and then the adventure begins!
